Be Part of Abasi People Movement

The movement is simple: tell people about APOL, tell the story of the Abasi People, and invite Abasi People Foundation leaders to speak at your event.

Taking part is always your choice. APOL will not add you to anything automatically, will not contact anyone on your behalf without your explicit instruction and consent, and does not infer anyone’s political affiliation.

Three ways to take part

1. Tell people about APOL

Share what APOL is: a governed way to see the Abasi People’s population picture from reviewed public sources, with the method shown openly and small counts suppressed.

2. Tell the story of the Abasi People

Ibibio, Annang, Efik, Oro, Ekid, Ekoi and Obolo/Andoni — one community under one name. The Learn About Abasi People page is the starting point, with its sources listed.

3. Invite a Foundation leader to speak

Invite an Abasi People Foundation leader to speak at a community meeting, school, church, town union or conference. Requests are not open on APOL yet; when they are, you will make one here and the Foundation will answer you directly.

Requests are not open on APOL yet. Nothing is sent from this page.

Learn more: what happens to a speaker request

When requests open, a request will need a verified sign-in, because a Foundation leader is being asked to travel and speak on the strength of it. APOL will record the occasion and your verified email, and nothing else about you.

Requests will be read by people, not answered automatically. APOL does not promise attendance and does not send anything on your behalf.

Learn more: what the movement is not

It is not a political campaign, not a membership register, and not a mailing list. APOL holds no political-affiliation field, infers none, and will not build one.
